Context

Overview

First Republic catered services to clients in Wealth, Consumer, and Business Banking. It was acquired by JPMorgan Chase in April, 2023.

At the time I joined, the bank structure regarding the design team was poorly organized. That led to different teams across different business lines producing different experiences.

My Role

I joined the team YML to help First Republic Bank built the best, unified and efficient digital experience. My goal particularly was to bring consistency, delight and a more accessible system to the users. A component-based design system was one of the pillars to creating a more consistent user experience and I had the opportunity to develop it in partnership with other talent designers.
